Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Hospital of Avon. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including restraint, triage, and laboratory sample collection
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgery and anesthesia
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a general practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
