We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Alliance Animal Health. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing top-notch patient care and support to our veterinarians
- Assisting with medical procedures, including surgery and anesthesia
- Collecting and analyzing lab samples, including blood, urine, and fecal samples
- Preparing and positioning patients for radiographs and other diagnostic imaging
- Providing exceptional customer service and communication with clients
- Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Key requirements include:
- Registered Veterinary Technician certification
- 1+ year of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a general practice or small animal hospital
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
