Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN - New Graduate

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, family members, and staff

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Reliable transportation
