Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Your expertise and dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care for our patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our interdisciplinary team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in our electronic system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
