About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our Medical Weight Management team at OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and testing for patients undergoing preoperative metabolic and bariatric surgery.
  • Provide individual counseling and support groups to postoperative patients.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team consultations and medical weight management psychoeducation groups.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • PhD in Psychology or Counseling.
  • License to practice psychology in the state of Ohio.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical counseling issues, psychological assessment skills, and psychiatric needs.
