Overview:

The Clinical Psychologist will operate within a patient-centered medical home (PCMH) framework, serving as a full-time provider in the capacity of an internal behavioral health consultant (IBHC) and/or Behavioral Health Care Facilitator (BHCF). This role is essential for integrating behavioral health services into primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Psychologist will:

  • Complete comprehensive training as a care facilitator, demonstrating core competencies for independent practice.
  • Engage with referred patients to evaluate adherence to medication regimens for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
  • Utilize validated symptom inventories to assess the severity of current symptoms.
  • Identify barriers to treatment adherence and collaborate with patients to develop effective solutions.
  • Provide educational resources to patients regarding their behavioral health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in a registry and ensure all documentation is current in electronic medical records.
  • Perform essential case management functions to support patient care.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience within the last three years.
  • Experience in evaluating and treating patients with psychological factors impacting their physical health.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.

Skills and Knowledge:

Applicants should have:

  • At least 12 months of hands-on experience with computer operations, including word processing and data entry.

Educational Requirements:

Candidates must hold:

  • A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited program.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship or residency in professional psychology.

Licensure:

It is required to maintain a current license to practice psychology in any U.S. jurisdiction.
