Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include greeting and assisting guests in their selection and purchase of merchandise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating effective guest service skills and resolving guest issues effectively.
  • Entering guest data and other sales data into the POS system accurately and obtaining proper signatures on guest sales.
  • Presenting jewelry from stock/cases to guests and replacing items in correct areas when sales are completed.
  • Repairing, polishing, or soldering jewelry.
  • Utilizing the GUESTS program when interacting with guests on the sales floor or phone and when handling guest-owned jewelry.
  • Providing knowledgeable service to guests on product information using in-store tools and training.
  • Boxing and wrapping sales for gift presentation.
  • Achieving established individual key performance metrics.
  • Assisting store management in achieving store key performance indicator metrics.
  • Assisting with daily housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Attending all required meetings.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and time management.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
  • Possess strong problem diagnosis skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a contribution to a positive team spirit.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
