Job Summary:

North Bend Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urology department. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, including changing foley catheters, suprapubic catheters, and dressings for wounds, drains, and catheters.
  • Assist with setting up and assisting with cystoscopy exams and prostate biopsies, and perform urodynamic tests.
  • Document procedures and patient information, and handle specimens.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Oregon.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and challenging environment.
