Asset Planning Engineer

This role is part of a diverse team of utility experts tasked with creating and executing a best-in-class asset planning strategy across AVANGRID.
The successful candidate will utilize practical and analytical knowledge to perform needs and solution studies on assets at all voltage levels, including the development of mitigating projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Execution of the AVANGRID Asset Management initiative in the electric networks organization.
- Point for decision making and navigation of projects through the Investment Planning process from inception through construction.
- Research, development, and execution of an industry-leading asset planning strategy.
- Ensuring that asset condition needs across AVANGRID are identified, prioritized, and addressed with appropriate mitigating solutions.
- Centralized oversight, development, support, and coordination of the capital project portfolio.
- Anticipation, preparation, and initiation of strategy discussions and activities to meet regulator, customer, and key stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- 0-3 years of required experience.
