Position: Clinical Laboratory Technician
Location: Detroit, MI
Assignment Duration: 9 weeks
Shifts Available:
- Midnight Shift: 7:30 PM - 4:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Compensation:
$53 per hour
Under the guidance of a laboratory technologist, team leader, or supervisor, and in accordance with established protocols, the Clinical Laboratory Technician will:
- Conduct specific procedures on blood and other bodily fluids or specimens, utilizing both manual techniques and laboratory instruments.
- Perform phlebotomy as required.
Education:
Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science is mandatory.
Skills:
- Effective communication abilities
- Proven technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge to execute laboratory tasks
- Certification from a recognized national certifying body (ASCP or NCA) is essential.
