We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join our team at GeoLogics Corporation. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop RF circuitry for receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
- Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.
- Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
- Provide inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and support manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
- Develop RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.
- Perform link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources.
- Develop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
- Identify and track RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Perform RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
- Support Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
- Bachelor of Science Degree required.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with RF test equipment and RF hardware verification.
- Experience with RF production support.
- RF Probe Station Experience.
- Experience in RF circuit design and RF PCB design up to 18 GHz.
- Experience in ADS or AWR Microwave Office.
- Experience in full-wave simulation/analysis (HFSS or CST).
- Commercial RF design experience.
We offer a competitive pay rate of $80 an hour with partial benefits. A DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position. If you are a motivated and experienced RF Engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.
