Job Summary

As a seasoned Construction Superintendent, you will oversee the entire construction process of ground-up multifamily projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects, from start to completion.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor.
  • Project Scheduling: Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve any design or construction issues.
  • Site Logistics: Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment management, and site layout.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and delays.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold quality control standards, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically in multifamily ground-up construction.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully completing at least 4-5 multifamily projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methodologies, and best practices for multifamily developments.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology: Proficient in construction management software and technology.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
