Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Round Rock, Texas.

Job Summary

As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical tools and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Prep the operating room and surgical tools and equipment
  • Assist nurses and surgeons with scrubbing in and out
  • Maintain sterile conditions throughout the procedure
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
  • Assist with cleaning the operating room after surgery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, but not required
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required
