Join Lockheed Martin, a leader in space exploration and defense, as a Space Ground Integration Systems Architect. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and developing the ground integration systems for our Meridian program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on ground integration systems
  • Design, develop, and oversee ground integration system architecture
  • Ensure conversion of mission requirements into total ground integration systems solutions
  • Lead systems architect for ground requirements and interface development, model-based systems engineering, system integration, and verification
  • Lead the creation of and closeout of the Meridian Ground Integration and Test campaign
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in an engineering or closely related field
  • Experience as a space systems or mission architect, with complete lifecycle experience with engineering processes and reviews
  • Strong knowledge of satellite ground system architectures and design of satellite ground systems
  • Familiarity with DoD program support
  • Demonstrated systems engineering or other technical experience on ground development programs
  • U.S. citizenship and current SECRET clearance, and the ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in agile development process, roles, and rhythms
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering, requirements creation, and digital twins
  • Prior experience coordinating cyber into larger system solutions
  • Previous experience defining and documenting functional requirements
  • Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
