Job Summary

Fishbeck is seeking a highly skilled Professional Surveyor to join our team in Toledo, OH. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of job responsibilities in the field and office, including construction staking, engineering design surveys, data collection, GPS, GIS mapping, mobile or terrestrial LiDAR collection, field investigation, field review, and coordination of multiple projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust and operate surveying instruments to ensure accurate measurements and data collection.
  • Compile information necessary to stake projects for construction using engineering plans and specifications.
  • Operate computerized data collection systems to gather and process survey data.
  • Record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, and sketches.
  • Process survey data and create boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Professional Surveyor with a strong background in surveying and geospatial technologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Engineering, or applicable experience, and a Professional Surveyor license or ability to obtain licensure. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with MicroStation Select Series and Open Roads Designer, as well as AutoCAD Civil 3D. Prior work on Michigan or Ohio Department of Transportation (MDOT or ODOT) projects is a plus.
