Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing department at our surgery center. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive quality and patient safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement staffing procedures to meet the needs of the surgery center.
- Set objectives and long-term goals for the Ambulatory Surgery Center, aligning with the organization's overall strategy.
- Organize and coordinate the day-to-day flow of scheduling and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and high-quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Current Indiana nursing license required.
- Degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is a plus.
- 3-5 years of previous supervisory experience.
- CPR and ACLS certifications required.
