Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Coordinator to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily dispatch of equipment to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule drivers and coordinate the dispatch of all equipment for the branch

  • Assist in taking customer orders for deliveries, pickups, and service

  • Arrange for emergency field repairs

  • Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill customer requests

  • Assist the inside sales team as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations

  • Diligent attention to safety

  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
