Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Coordinator to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily dispatch of equipment to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule drivers and coordinate the dispatch of all equipment for the branch
Assist in taking customer orders for deliveries, pickups, and service
Arrange for emergency field repairs
Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill customer requests
Assist the inside sales team as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
Diligent attention to safety
Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
