Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Jordan's Furniture. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate the activities of facilities employees to provide maintenance and renovation of equipment and systems throughout all facilities.
  • Training and Development: Train, evaluate, schedule, motivate, and mentor all facilities operations personnel.
  • Permitting and Licensing: Participate in the acquisition of permits, licenses, and other construction-related documents and ensure that they remain current.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that building codes and safety standards are maintained and enforced both inside and outside the facilities.
  • Project Management: Responsible for assuring that all projects and assigned work is completed within the approved department budget.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Oversees repairs and maintenance of grounds, including snow removal, ice, or inclement weather conditions, and sewer operations.
  • Entertainment Venues: Manages the maintenance and repair of entertainment venues and components.
  • Reporting and Training: Oversees the preparation and review of department reports and training procedures.
  • Safety Standards: Develops safety standards and ensures that OSHA safety standards are maintained and followed by Facilities employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, 2-4 years previous supervisory experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid Electricians license and be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment.
  • Availability: Required to be available and take appropriate action for emergency calls and situations during off-hours (nights & weekends, etc.).
  • Travel: Open to travel as needed for the position.
