Job Title: Inside Systems Engineer

Your Responsibilities
  • Technical Engagement: Build trust as a technical advisor for potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how our solutions meet those needs.
  • Sales Support: Oversee critical phases of the sales process, including needs assessment, demonstrations, proof of concept, and product definition.
  • Product Showcase: Present our product portfolio and its features during customer meetings and events.
  • Consultative Relationships: Forge robust consultative bonds with individuals in customer and partner organizations to ensure their contentment.
  • Sales Team Support: Deliver advanced training and support to sales teams across various business regions.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape to effectively present and promote optimal client solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent IT work experience or equivalent military experience required.
  • Strong sales aptitude with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An adaptable and collaborative team player.
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and concepts, as well as principles of defense in depth and the various layers of security (network, application, endpoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of common cyber threats, and basic security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus software, encryption, and authentication methods is important.
  • Foundational Knowledge of Data Networking, including the OSI model, IP addressing (IPv4 and IPv6), subnetting and common networking protocols and services.
  • Basic knowledge of network design principles, including LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) configurations, is important - This includes understanding network topologies and network architecture.
