Janitorial Assistant

Pine Mountain Lake Association is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and mops.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Lock doors and secure facilities after hours.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Notify supervisors of any potential safety hazards or concerns.
• Replace air filters and perform other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Disinfect high-touch areas and surfaces.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and protocols for working with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

The Janitorial Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The noise level is moderate to loud at times. The employee must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
