About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a Personal Banker, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized banking services to customers, including opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Assist customers with basic requests and provide solutions to help them succeed financially.
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs and provide relevant recommendations.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to refer customers' financial needs and provide seamless solutions.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach and providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
Job Expectations
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed.
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
