Endovascular Neurosurgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our team at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our neurosurgery department, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve comprehensive stroke center certification and grow our brain and spine program.
Responsibilities- Perform endovascular neurosurgical procedures, including aneurysm clipping, arteriovenous malformation (AVM) treatment, and stroke intervention.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of our stroke program, including quality improvement initiatives and education.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our neurosurgery department, including mentoring junior staff and participating in research opportunities.
- MD/DO degree and US board eligibility/certification in neurosurgery.
- Completion of neurosurgical endovascular fellowship required.
- Strong clinical and technical skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
