Endovascular Neurosurgery Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, Texas. As a member of our neurosurgery department, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification and grow our brain and spine program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform endovascular neurosurgical procedures to treat a range of conditions, including stroke and cerebral aneurysms
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders
  • Participate in the development and implementation of our stroke program, including quality improvement initiatives and education
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our brain and spine program, including research and education

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree and US board eligibility/certification in neurosurgery
  • Completion of neurosurgical endovascular fellowship required
  • Strong clinical and technical skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

We are a nationally accredited Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.
