We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Direct and oversee the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
- Effectively coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients and participate in patient and family teaching for an assigned group of patients.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
- At least six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability, exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and passion for delivering high-quality care.
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
