We're seeking a motivated and energetic Package Delivery Assistant to join our team as a Seasonal Driver Helper. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring packages reach their destinations on time and in great condition.

About the Role:

This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varying shifts. You'll be assigned a meet point where you'll be picked up by your Package Delivery Driver, and together you'll complete multiple deliveries on a pre-assigned route. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers' doorsWork effectively as part of a delivery team to ensure timely completion of routesProvide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiriesMaintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to UPS's high standards for safety and efficiencyParticipate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
  • Stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of accountability
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
