Enterprise Product Risk Manager

Capital One is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Product Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Services Risk Office, you will play a critical role in providing risk management support to our Enterprise Product and Experience (EPX) team.
About the RoleThe Enterprise Services Risk Office provides risk management support to several lines of business, including Tech, Enterprise Product and Experience (EPX), Brand, Enterprise Supplier Management, Capital One Ventures, External Affairs, and Capital One Software (C1S). As the risk team for EPX, we are on the cutting edge of risk management and provide support for new and emerging technologies as well as critical business strategies.
Responsibilities- Partner with EPX and leverage a trusted advisor model to support business initiatives, issue management, process improvement, control testing, and related risk assessment activities.
- Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile.
- Implement process improvements, including process certification framework, process hierarchy change management, change control, and risk reporting.
- Oversee, review, and manage Enterprise process hierarchy (L1/L2 processes).
- Ensure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas.
- Consult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners, providing advice and guidance as needed.
- Participate in processes criticality assessments and process level assessments.
- Manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines.
- Communicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly, adjusting communication to the audience and comfortable with presenting to executive leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting internal business clients.
- At least 3 years of experience in project, process, or program management.
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Risk Management.
- 5+ years of experience in Change or Process Management.
- Risk Certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CIPP, ABA Risk Management Certification).
- Business Process Management certification, Lean or Green Belt Certification.
