POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Speech Pathologist provides essential speech and language therapy services to individuals experiencing various health challenges. As a vital member of the healthcare and interdisciplinary teams, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) delivers direct patient care, focusing on assessment and intervention in communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities. The SLP plays a crucial role in educating and preparing patients, families, and caregivers for ongoing care post-discharge.

In this collaborative environment, the SLP engages in a cooperative model of care, offering support to fellow SLPs by sharing patient caseloads and assisting colleagues as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program is required. Candidates must possess clinical certification (CCC's) or be eligible to obtain CCC's from ASHA, the national professional organization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Preferred experience includes working with both adult and pediatric populations in a clinical setting.
