Electrical Superintendent

At Kiewit Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our Underground District, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects.

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This includes managing electrical crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

• Manage electrical crews and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that all electrical work is completed to the highest quality standards
• Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Assist in planning work schedules and determining labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Ensure that procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards
• Coordinate sub-contractor work undertaken under the electrical scope
• Advises senior level supervision and project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, and other potential issues

• Two Year technical degree in construction or an electrical discipline or equivalent combination of experience and technical training
• Skilled Electrician with at least 7+ years of experience managing electrical crews and running multi-million dollar construction projects
• Experience managing & coordinating sub-contracts on large underground projects
• Preferred experience Programing or troubleshooting Siemens or Allen-Bradley software
• Preferred active Journeyman or Master Electricians License
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code, Medium Voltage Systems and Control Systems
• Advanced knowledge in NFPA 70E and be able to read and understand electrical construction and controls drawings
