Key Responsibilities- Enforce hospital security policies and procedures, responding promptly to all security-related incidents.
- Assist medical personnel in managing violent or uncooperative patients, applying physical restraints as necessary.
- Remove individuals who refuse to comply with hospital policies and procedures from hospital premises.
- Conduct regular patrols, both internal and external, to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to fire safety emergencies and ensure the hospital's emergency response plan is implemented effectively.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NYS Security Officer Eight Hour training certificate and NYS Driver's License required.
- Previous experience preferred, with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle tense situations.
- Awareness of individual needs according to age specifics.
