About the Role

The Food Service Worker at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is responsible for performing a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution, and service of food for Hospital visitors and staff. This role requires strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to push catering carts and lift items up to 25 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble sandwiches, grill items, and hot meals for to-go orders
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Clean workstation and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Restock workstations with necessary supplies
• Prepare and serve food in accordance with hospital standards and regulations

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read English to follow recipes and job flows
• Ability to speak proficient English
• Great customer service skills required
• Ability to work in a team environment and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
