Job Summary:The Community Outreach Worker will be responsible for:
- Recruiting and retaining patients at various clinic locations and throughout our service areas.
- Storing, transporting, and maintaining outreach equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- Preparing, transporting, and disseminating outreach and marketing materials to the community and at events.
- Engaging with faith-based organizations, schools, and community-based organizations to develop partnerships and collaborations.
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking outreach activities in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Providing culturally competent, professional, and empathetic communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Distributing educational materials and promoting our services through tabling and canvassing activities.
- Identifying innovative ways to market and outreach our services to the community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge of community resources in the area.
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a community clinic or FQHC setting.
- A current California Driver's License.
- Bilingual and bi-literate Spanish/English skills.
- Experience working with patients with limited literacy and from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.
