Job Title: Dental Assistant

About OMSA:
At Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates (OMSA), we are a full-scope practice featuring a team of exceptionally qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the Tri-State regional area with over 100 years cumulative oral surgery experience. Our mission is to provide nothing less than outstanding care so that you can live your best life.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures
Set up and tear down operatories
Take digital dental radiographs
Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with post op instructions following procedures
Perform other various office tasks as necessary
Travel to our other offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw as needed

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Non-Expired Indiana Dental Radiographer License (required)
Basic computer skills (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required)
Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
CPR Certification (preferred)
One-year dental assisting experience (preferred)
Previous digital radiology experience (preferred)
