Job Summary

Neighborhood Health Clinics Inc is seeking a highly skilled Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and instrumentation in our clinics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental sterilization and instrumentation, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operatories and tray set-ups for patient examination and maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in all exam areas.
  • Collect and prepare biohazard material for removal.
  • Assist with maintenance of dental equipment and look for ways to improve sterilization procedures and increase productivity.
  • Remain current in advanced practice changes within the area and translate these findings into practice.
  • Work with providers and co-workers to ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, packaged, sterilized, and prepared as necessary for each procedure and daily use.

Requirements:

  • Exposure in a medical or dental office preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
