About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Fleet Mechanic-Technician to join our team at Abilene Motors Express, powered by Knight Transportation. As a critical member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting trailer repairs and performing preventative maintenance on our equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain heavy truck and trailer equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair minor to complex issues with trailers and equipment
  • Perform tire maintenance and repairs
  • Test drive equipment if CDL certified
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
