Mental Health Therapist DBT Specialist

The DBT Outpatient Clinician in the Adult Outpatient Mental Health Department at Crozer Health provides therapy services to adults ages eighteen through geriatric. As a part of the DBT Team, the clinician will maintain a caseload comprised of both DBT and Non-DBT clients. Additionally, the clinician will attend weekly DBT Team Meetings and provide phone coaching to clients outside of office hours. The clinician is responsible for completing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments within the open access intake process and following regulatory requirements for documentation. As a team player, the clinician will collaborate with Psychiatrists, Blended Case Management team members, and other applicable clinical team members. Knowledge and training of Evidence Based Practices and providing Trauma Informed Care are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to adults ages eighteen through geriatric.
  • Attend weekly DBT Team Meetings and provide phone coaching to clients outside of office hours.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments within the open access intake process.
  • Follow regulatory requirements for documentation.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Blended Case Management team members, and other applicable clinical team members.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or related Behavioral Health Field required.
  • Maintains licensure requirements.
  • Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy sufficient to provide DBT to patients.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year in Mental Health field required.
  • Maintains licensure requirements.

Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:

  • Clinical License to perform psychotherapy LCSW, LPC or LMFT.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CPR preferred.
  • ACSW preferred.
