  • Polish metal fixtures in lobby areas to maintain their shine.
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel protocols.
  • Sanitize assigned public and back-of-house areas diligently.
  • Follow all specific HOSTAR policies and procedures.
  • Manage Room Service trays by returning them to the designated service corridor.
  • Assist with the general cleaning of guest rooms as needed.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and extractors after receiving proper training.
  • Ensure the highest cleanliness standards for various surfaces including carpets, tiles, and glass.
  • Transfer and stock supplies from Receiving as instructed.
  • Keep the Housekeeping storeroom organized and secure.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, including turning mattresses and cleaning chandeliers.
  • Maintain the condition of grounds and floors, ensuring a pristine environment.
  • Clean ashtrays, ice machine areas, elevator foyers, and doors as part of routine duties.
  • Manage the cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and handrails.
  • Replace burnt-out light bulbs following established procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and deep cleaning of VIP rooms when required.
  • Move furniture as necessary to facilitate cleaning.
  • Attend all scheduled department meetings and training sessions.
  • Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.

  • Notify relevant personnel promptly regarding any significant issues.
  • Maintain a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor towards guests and colleagues.

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment and work areas.
  • Recycle whenever feasible and adhere to hotel uniform standards.
Qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in English.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

The compensation for this position is $22.95.
