Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiology Faculty member to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As an Assistant Professor - Noninvasive Electrophysiologist/Pediatric Cardiology Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of pediatric cardiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients admitted to the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU), including those with complex congenital heart disease and other cardiac conditions.
  • Supervise patient care and progression in partnership with Advanced Practice Providers, pediatric cardiology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students.
  • Develop and implement educational and support resources for patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop clinical guideline pathways.
  • Contribute to the Electrophysiology Team, including reading ECGs/Holters, performing cardiac exercise stress testing, and participating in invasive electrophysiology testing/ablation procedures.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
  • Successful completion of advanced pediatric cardiology fellowship in either Invasive or Non-Invasive Electrophysiology strongly recommended.
