The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Pediatrics to join our faculty. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-eligible, clinical teaching track faculty position at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor with training and experience in the area of Pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and resolve medication-related problems in the Special Care Clinic (SCC) at Children's Hospital Colorado.
- Collaborate with a clinical faculty partner to develop and implement innovative clinical services for patients and providers.
- Participate in the clinical education of pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and other healthcare professionals through experiential training in the SCC.
- Engage in scholarly activities to document the value of clinical pharmacy services and improvements in patient care and outcomes in the SCC.
- PharmD degree.
- Completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency training in pediatrics or a similar program.
- Candidates must have, or be eligible for, pharmacist licensure in Colorado.
- Preferred qualifications include a PGY2 residency program in pediatrics, board certification in an area appropriate for this position, and previous academic experience.
