Position Overview:
As a Senior Customs Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the classification and U.S. Customs clearance of substantial merchandise, ensuring adherence to regulations and compliance standards. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to maintain alignment with CBP regulations and other governmental entities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the classification of HTS codes and assess additional duties or tariffs.
2. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and resolve any CBP holds.
3. Identify opportunities for duty savings and report on tariff changes.
4. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for team members.
5. Generate comprehensive reports on Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Anti-Dumping/Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) cases, and significant tariff changes.

A Day in the Role:
Ensure precision in classifications, duty rates, and clearance documentation while upholding compliance with CBP and other regulatory requirements. Train new team members and collaborate with management to enhance operational processes.

Compliance Maintenance:
Maintain the integrity of the Trade Compliance Program through risk-based audits, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

System Development:
Innovate and test a cross-functional International Purchase Order system aimed at streamlining operations and reducing risks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or three years of relevant experience in Customs Trade Compliance.
- Preferred certifications include US Customs Broker License and/or CCS (Certified Customs Specialist).
- In-depth knowledge of international operations and customs compliance, particularly regarding U.S. Import Regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
