Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Goodwill Industries International Inc. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Sales Promotion: Identify opportunities to promote sales and suggest products to customers.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
