About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Claims Specialist to join our Creative Risk Solutions team at Holmes Murphy & Associates.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned claims professional to leverage their expertise in litigated liability claims handling, construction claims, and auto and general liability claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve litigated liability claims in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Mediate situations between insureds and insurance companies, including researching coverage issues and negotiating liability settlements.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information and reporting on a computer system during the claim process.
  • Generate checks for indemnity and medical payments daily.
  • Participate in claim reviews and risk control workshops.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' claims experience with strong background in litigated liability claims handling.
  • Construction claims experience, including construction defect, contracts, tender of liability, and uninsured/underinsured motorist.
  • Auto and general liability claims experience.
