Transaction Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Processing Specialist to join our team at Empower. As a key member of our Non-Qualified Analytics department, you will be responsible for implementing new business cases, processing death claims, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create new business implementation packets for the issuance of new company-owned life insurance (COLI) cases
  • Assist parties with acquiring and completing required forms and documentation
  • Request death certificates from state agencies and create death claim packets to process payment of COLI death benefits
  • Maintain New Business and Death Claim trackers in Excel
  • Communicate with internal and external clients through clear, respectful communications
  • Enter processed transactions in Broker/Dealer database

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service and transaction processing
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
