At CoreCivic, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services to offenders. We are seeking a skilled Psihcological Care Specialist to join our team of mental health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological screenings and assessments to identify inmates' mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to inmates, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
- Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmates' mental health and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, and security staff to ensure comprehensive care and address any concerns.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs.
- At least two years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
- Valid driver's license and minimum age requirement of 21 years.
