Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT team at Peoples National Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud server/infrastructure operating systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Responsible for the underlying storage environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain the virtual compute environment.
- Administer Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Act as the administrator of backups and recovery.
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the server environment.
- Work with vendors and third parties to ensure systems are well maintained and prevent unforeseen outages.
- Troubleshoot and provide tier 3 technical support to employees.
- Help and support IT audit processes with an emphasis on the server/storage/virtual environments.
- Maintain network file systems.
- Ensure all areas of responsibility are secure and any issues have been reported to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology, along with a degree in Computer Science, a related field, or IT certifications.
- Significant experience with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Advanced experience with VMWare.
- Proficiency in IT processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
