Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Operations: Assist in the preparation and distribution of food for breakfast, lunch, and snack, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and sanitary manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including food and non-food supplies, and ensure that all storage areas are clean and organized.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Comply with all requirements of the Indiana State Board of Health Food Service Sanitation Requirements and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food service operations, including menus, inventory, and sanitation procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment, read and understand menus and food service tracking tools, and perform basic math skills.
  • Certifications: Must become certified in CPR and First Aid within twelve (12) months of hire.
Working Conditions

This is a school year position available (35 hours/week) with a starting salary range of $17.30 per hour.
