Key Responsibilities:

  1. Benefit Management: Oversee Social Security, VA, Railroad, and Social Service benefits, including:

  • Maintaining eligibility for all entitlement programs.
  • Coordinating food stamp transactions.

Client Fund Oversight: Manage client fund balances through:

  • Processing reimbursements and transfers as necessary.
Reporting Duties: Prepare and submit various reports, including:
  • Monthly wage reports for disabled workers.
  • Annual tax returns for residents.
  • Correspondence regarding benefit amounts.
Resource for Staff: Act as a point of contact for agency staff, care managers, and families regarding financial matters.Food Stamp Management: Process EBT transactions and maintain accurate records.Clothing Allowance Administration: Manage bi-annual fund requests and verify expenditures.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a two-year degree in a relevant field (business, accounting) and have 1-3 years of experience with benefit systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational, communication, and mathematical skills are essential.

Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to engage in regular office activities, including standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.

Compensation: Wage range is $20.29 to $23.13 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
