Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Provider to join our team at Amberwell Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide exceptional care to pediatric to later adult patient populations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a 2-year degree and a valid Kansas LPN license. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Provider will be responsible for providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other healthcare team members. This will involve managing stress appropriately, making decisions under pressure, and handling multiple priorities.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Kansas LPN license
  • BLS certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

The Patient Care Provider will work in various settings, including hospitals and clinics, and will be exposed to communicable diseases, blood, and body fluids. The position requires standing for 2-4 hours per day, sitting for 2-3 hours per day, and walking for 5-6 hours per day.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
