Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Staff RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
  • Lead and direct a team of healthcare professionals, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Document patient care and outcomes accurately and thoroughly, utilizing electronic health records and other tools.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent experience in mother/baby care or successful completion of a KP FCC training program.
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Basic Life Support
