Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently perform tasks outlined on repair orders in accordance with dealership standards
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing time estimates for further repairs
  • Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
  • Preferred 4+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • Must hold Ford Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory
  • B level qualifications, including skills in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Strong dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
