Job Title: Quality Technician

At Silfab Solar, we are committed to producing high-performance and durable solar solutions. We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team of experts who are dedicated to our mission and to evolving technology for the next generation of solar products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished PV cells and modules to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, including spectrometers, current-voltage (IV) curve testers, thermal imaging cameras, and EL (electroluminescence) testers.
  • Identify and document product defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of testing data and results.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, engineering technology, renewable energy) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a quality assurance or testing role within the solar or manufacturing industry is a plus.
